Do I Qualify for a loan?
To qualify for a loan, you must be:
- Be between 25 – 59 years old
- Have a verifiable source of income
- Live and / or work in Uganda.
- Have a savings or current bank account with any commercial ban
How much can I borrow and for how long
You can borrow a minimum of 1,000,000/= and a maximum of 3,000,000/= depending on your monthly salary or income.
How do I apply for a loan?

How long does it take to process the loan?
Your loan process can be completed in 24 hours provided all documents are valid & presented with your application.
What documents do you need?
A recent bank statement for the last three months, a National Identity Card, Passport Photo, appointment letter for your job. You scan and send to loans@africapital.net
How does AfriCash calculate my interest payable?
We use a Risk Based Pricing model which estimates the risk of lending to each applicant and prices accordingly.
How long can I pay back my loan?
We lend up to 3 months, you must pay back your loan within that time failure of which we shall charge you penal interest.
I receive my salary in cash, can I obtain a loan?
Yes, you can get a loan from us provided you provide a bank statement for the last 3 months where you bank your salary.
How do I pay my loan?
- Cash deposit or transfer into our bank account whose details shall be provided in the loan agreement.

- Cheques: The cheques issued for payments will be presented to your bank on your due date. Please make sure you have enough funds to cover repayment.
Note: Cheques: If you don’t want your cheque to be presented and would prefer to pay via an alternative channel (cash deposit/transfer), please inform us by an email to loans@africapital.net at least 5 working days before your due date. This ensures that your cheque will not be presented.
